Scentsy.com offers a great way to have the smell of scented candles without the dangers associated with open flames. Scentsy wax comes in bars and bricks that can be broken into smaller pieces so that you can choose exactly the amount of scent you need in a room. The warmers use small electric light bulbs that gently warm the wax to give off the great scent for hours.
Warmers come in three basic sizes. The smallest is designed to plug into an outlet like a night light. The medium and large warmers are made to sit on a counter or table. The small warmer will hold one to two pieces of wax while the larger holders will accept more. Warmers may be purchased for $15 to $35, according to the size and design.
Wax bars cost $5 each. The larger bricks are sold for $20 each. The wax level never changes, it’s the scent that evaporates out of the wax. Each cube lasts approximately 10-12 hours of “on time”. Some Scentsy fragrances will last longer than others do. When you want to change wax, you simply turn on the lamp to melt the wax and pour it off. It can be poured back into the container it came in to reform and be used again if there is scent remaining.
