The New Cricut Cartridges – What Everyone is Talking About
Heads up all you cricut paper crafting addicts there are six new Cricut machine cartridges on the way! There is a solutions cartridge called Serenade, and then five others called Sweethearts, From my Kitchen, Winter Wonderland, Everyday Paper Dolls, and Picturesque.
Unfortunately there is no exact release date being told to us yet but here is hoping they are here for Christmas (especially that Winter Wonderland cartridge!) However you can download them to your Cricut Design Studio already to have a look at what is on them. The announcement was posted just recently on the Cricut Message Board if you want to go and take a more detailed look at what they have to say.
For those of you who do not have Design studio, this is partly why you should get it! You can access cartridges before they are physically released so you can see what is on them and which ones you are interested in buying. You can start designing those Christmas cards and scrapbook pages before they are even out, and then when they do come you are all ready to get cutting straight away. Just buy it, install it and click a button – easy as pie!
These cartridges work on all the Cricut Die Cut machines, the original, the Create and the Expression. Personally the From My Kitchen catches my interest, as I am sure it does for any other food and drink lovers out there. Invitations to dinner parties and scrapbooks of special dinners are going to be even better with the addition of that particular cartridge to my collection.
Here is a brief outline of what is on each cartridge:
• Picturesque – swirls, birds, all kind of scrolls, lacey picture corners, flowers, butterflies, swans and more.
• Winter Wonderland -reindeer, ice skates, evergreen trees, sleigh, snow man, skis, scarves, fun winter sentiments, mittens and more.
• Everyday Paper Dolls – accessories like a cell phone, people figures, dumb bells, clothes, crutches, golf cart, karaoke machine, ski chair lift, scooter and more.
• From My Kitchen – pots, utensils, bowls, pans, tea pots, food shapes like chicken drum sticks, blenders, vegetables, spaghetti and more.
• Serenade – butterflies, birds, vases, bird cages, branches, flower pots, trees, fruit, flowers and more.Sweethearts – wedding, couples, hearts, engagement, valentines, bicycle built for two, love sentiments, churches, wedding cakes and more.
