One of the best times in life, is getting married. But it can also be stressful. More so on the bride’s father. The father has to give his daughter away to another man, and this man is supposed to fulfil the role of taking care of his new wife. This may leave the father feeling a little saddened, yet joyful that there is someone who’s going to take good care of his princess. Ok, so that has been established. But now what does the father say to the bride when he’s toasting. Here’s another nervous time for the father of the bride. Father of the bride wedding speeches can be simple, short and sweet. It is what the father feels he wants to say to the bride and groom and to everyone else.
Many speeches can come directly from the heart at the moments notice. Those may be the best heart felt speeches given. There’s nothing wrong with pre written ones, if it sends the same message. But for the full effect, a speech or a toast should be given from the heart. The things a father can say will vary upon the religion, time, and experiences with his daughter.

Then the speech continues to mention and acknowledge the groom and welcome him to the family, then acknowledge his family. And then seal the speech by offering up a toast to both the bride and groom. This was easy. But practice the speech a few times before attempting it in public. Father of the bride speeches are special and sentimental to the bride especially.
