Bird Control
If you are reading this, you probably have a bird problem. Birds are messy creatures that make an awful lot of noise. While one or two in the spring are pleasant to listen to, a tree full can be quite stressful. So what do you do in order to get bird control? What steps can you take to prevent the birds from nesting in your favorite tree in the first place?
When you are looking for bird control, remember this very important piece of information. Using bird poisons should be a very last resort. In most cases it is even against the law. Be sure to identify what species of bird your pest is. Killing birds is also sad, so it shouldn’t even be an option on your list until you have tried everything else in the book. And what might those things be?
The first thing is to obtain a form of repellent for bird control. For example, one of the best things used to repel pigeons, for example, are perch repellents. The next time you go to a grocery store or a department store, look up at the giant lighted letters on the side of the building. You will likely see needle like points coming up from each letter. These are specifically there to repel pigeons from making there nests up there since they can’t even perch there. You can order them online.
If your problem bird is a woodpecker then that can be even more frustrating. You might even think that someone is knocking at your door several times a day. Really, it is just that darn bird pecking at the side of your house. If you know where the bird usually likes to peck the house, try hanging a string of noisemakers. The noise will likely scare the bird away. If you find that you are still having a problem gaining bird control, then call a professional. They will often know how to handle the situation in accordance with the law. And that should be your first priority. It is always better to do what you can to obey the law, rather than break it.
