Deck Stain on Wood House Siding
Many people ask if deck stain can be used on wood house siding and the answer is yes. Depending on the type of wood, deck stain can be used to protect wooden decks, fences, and wooden house siding. The key with any deck stain is to apply it to bare clean wood so it can penetrate the wood fibers and give adequate protection. Any bit of stain that is not able to penetrate the wood will not perform properly. This is just like if you were staining a piece of antique furniture or some wood trim.
