How to look for the best Christian resources
When a group of people has certain beliefs that fly directly in the face of many mainstream beliefs, that group will naturally want a certain degree of differentiation in the products it chooses to consume.
The particular group that I have in mind is Christians and other religious people who believe that our mainstream society is slowly flushing itself down the toilet. If you are Christian, you have probably wished many times that there were more stores that would cater specifically to you. And with all the trash that stores sell these days, who can blame you? I certainly can’t, for I am a Christian myself.
Just to show you what I mean, I decided to visit a bookstore last week. It was not a Christian bookstore, but I went anyway. I was appalled at some of the garbage being sold. I looked for the Christian resources section, but this store did not have one. They decided that Christians were not a profitable enough group for them to cater to.
That’s the problem with retailers nowadays. They think that if they try to get the business of religious people by offering Christian resources, they will alienate all the other people who would be offended by it. They cut off a huge part of their customer base because the Christians won’t complain and threaten to file lawsuits and all that stuff.
Well I’ve had enough of it. From this day forth, I plan to shop only at Christian retailers. I won’t have any retailer tell me what I can and can’t do.
