What to teach your children and how to do it
Children our our most important asset, so we had better treat them well. Our kids will be the leaders of the world in the coming years, and how we raise them now will determine if they turn out to be contributors to society or leeches who don’t really do anything important. I for one want my kids to do good things for the world because if somebody doesn’t, were going down the toilet fast.
So what kinds of things should we do to ensure that our children become positive contributions to this world of ours? I have a few suggestions for you. First, we should keep them away from most of what the TV has to offer. Most of what is broadcast nowadays will turn their brains to mush, or worse. We can’t afford to let our kids watch people with no morals act out their trashy lifestyles right in front of our eyes. There’s just no room for that.
We should also make sure our kids go to good schools. How will they know how to run the world if we dont’ start teaching them how the world works now. It will be awfully hard for your child to get into a good college if they are still reading at a third grade level.
The last thing goes along with the previous one. We need to read to our children from the best books possible, especially from Christian children’s books. If they’re learning good Christian principles, there is a much better chance that they will do great things in life.
